I believe that there must be a simplicity
within the madness of our existence
That if we were meant to be somewhere else instead of right here,
we indeed would be somewhere else.

Can you sit with your longing?
hold it
nurture it
start to experience it as a sacred landscape
waiting to be revered
rather than a road to be traveled swiftly
a problem solved at its destination
a bypassing of experience

Longing is a landscape waiting to be tended to
patiently
through the seasons
seeds, sprouts, flowers, juniper trees
nourish them to life
revere the grounds, the sun, the rain
don’t rush out of becoming
you will miss the soft subtle phases
of yearning opening into manifestation
of the formless slowly taking form

Spoken Words

“It is my deepest hope
that at the end of it all
you will be home”

Welcome Home is a collection of poetry
inspired by the search through life’s seasons
of feeling lost, finding a way and eventually finding yourself

About Me

A decade ago, at the age of 24, Anna-Belle took a leap of faith and moved across the ocean from Belgium to New York, USA.

Having had a feeling of just not quite being where she was supposed to be, she felt the need to leave her roots and what was familiar in order to discover who she truly is. Sometimes it takes leaving everything you know to have the space to find what you are looking for- in her case, herself.
